Is My Child a Candidate?

Many parents see us as a 2nd opinion after being told their kids need extractions and braces and often surgery.

Early intervention at the correct age makes all the difference.

Compliance is crucial if one is to expect success with anything other than braces.

Many children we meet will be able to use the Myobrace orthodontic appliance. Some will only require the Myobrace to straighten their teeth without any other appliances.

These parents will pay significantly less than the cost of braces and are treated over a 2 year period.

The remaining group either have crowding that requires expansion and development of one or both jaws prior to the Myobrace, or they require the advancement of their underdeveloped upper or retruded lower jaw.

In simple terms, this means that some children need to wear plates 24 hours a day (any colour they like) for a number of months, depending on severity of course, before they are ready for the MYOBRACE.

Fees vary depending on degree of difficulty and are covered in the information pack. An initial consultation costs $120, which will cover eligibility and treatment plans in great detail.
